The best Mexican food in town. The food is fresh, someone's mom is cooking for you. The ladies are nice and will accommodate your request. I like the Lupita's quesadilla with asada and shrimp; surf and turf. The fish burritos is really good too. The tortillas are made fresh, yum! It's casual outdoor seating. They close early. They also accept phone orders.

I had the rice and beans with corn tortillas. Might sound boring but it wasn't. Beans were solid, rice was great and the tortillas were super. Killer salsa. Cash only which sucks but we survived. Great outside seating. Staff was efficient.

I always eat here after a day at the beach, it has a great outdoor seating area with funky decor! My go to is the al pastor and carne asada tacos, with nachos as a shareable item. The tacos are pretty big and they are generous with their portion of meat. It's really simple, you order inside and pick up at the window and enjoy at their tables! Can't go wrong with the spot! Our local Capitola Charquiteria De San Marcos holds the utmost standard of freshest prawns, produce & elegant gourmet tortilla's. The brilliant green tortilla is a masterpiece ! ~ these tortilla's appear as large leaves of vibrant green & red lettuce ~ yet they are fresh tortillas stuffed with prawns & fresh produce . The red tortillas are stuffed with brilliant pulled pork, fresh herbs & spices. Enjoy dining right there in their Pretty Patio OR Call in Your order - as this is NOT basic 'fast food'

Hands down my favorite taqueria of all time. This place is a family-owned gem tucked away near Gayle's. Everyone here is so kind, great service. You really can't beat the handmade tortillas and the meat is seasoned so well. Great salsas. Just yum yum yum. While I was here on this day particularly there was a first timer who absolutely raved about how delicious everything was he was so blown away it was really cute. I found this on yelp a couple years back and I come here all the time, even passing through w my pup when we're on a walk. Sometimes they'll give her a little meat treat and some pets. I'll continue to bring my friends here and share this amazing food and experience with them. Make sure to bring cash as they are cash only! You can enjoy a cerveza here as well!

*CASH ONLY* Cute little gem in Capitola. Off the beaten path of tourist traffic. Modest and unassuming with delicious food that's very fairly priced. The coffee is made by the owner with a deft touch of cinnamon that's so refreshing The morning clientele made it apparent it's not aiming for the gringo pallet. Delicious huevos rancheros we're amazing. Two fried eggs on homemade corn tortillas with a very vibrant house made salsa was the perfect breakfast. It came with some delightful beans (topped with queso fresco) and potatoes. The breakfast burrito was plump full of tasty ingredients. Eggs, bacon and potatoes. Two sauces are available in squeeze bottles. The red sauce is tasty but unassuming in a way that compliments with little heat. The green has a full flavor and a nice portion of jalapeños for heat. I hope to return soon for the other items outside of breakfast which also look amazingly delicious. What a great find! Edit to include the extra kind staff.
